About the role
Cisco CX Engineering is seeking a UI Developer with experience in Angular to design and develop modern, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for our next-generation customer experience platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional, user-friendly experiences.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and secure communication.
- Implement and maintain reusable UI components aligned with Cisco’s Design Systems for consistency across products.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize performance and scalability across browsers and devices, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
- Collaborate in an agile environment, delivering incremental value through iterative development cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular, including debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and working with JSON data structures.
- Experience with UI design systems and component-based architectures.
- Git and Agile methodologies experience.
Qualifications
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data querying and integration.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
- Exposure to Docker or other containerized development environments.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Angular framework and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
- Experience with UI design systems and component-based architectures.
- Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.

Pay
- The starting salary range posted for this position is $165,000.00 to $241,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Schedule
- This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week onsite at our office located in Milpitas, CA.
