Senior Treaty Reinsurance Underwriter (Open to Remote)

This role supports financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop relationships with brokers and clients in global property treaty reinsurance
• Evaluate ceding company financial strength and market trends for risk acceptance
• Analyze new and renewal submissions using cedent data and market insights
• Underwrite program structures based on operational hazards and historical loss data
• Review treaty contracts and manage documentation within authority limits
• Retain profitable business through strong broker and client relationship management
• Lead cross-divisional reinsurance projects and serve as subject matter expert

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in reinsurance underwriting or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial pricing models and methodologies
• Experience in building and managing relationships with brokers and clients
• Proficiency in project management for large, complex initiatives
• Solid foundation in profitability, growth, and risk assessment
• Knowledge of advanced financial analysis and actuarial techniques

Pay

$99,000 – $167,000 annually
