Senior Transaction Coordinator
Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, is seeking a Senior Transaction Coordinator for our Multifamily Advisory Group (MAG) in Birmingham, AL. MAG is distinguished by an unmatched regional focus with an outstanding national platform that maximizes results.
About the role
This position is responsible for day-to-day transaction management oversight on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield and national clients. Responsibilities include managing the office's escrow and due diligence process, acting as liaison between Sellers and Buyers throughout the transaction process, and real-time tracking of deal flow and revenue projections.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update internal production sheet in real-time as new listing agreements are awarded and deals move throughout the transaction process to under LOI, under contract, etc.
- Schedule and attend site visits and third-party meetings for deals under contract.
- Prepare listing agreements, commission agreements, closing invoices, etc.
- Run point on all deal-related correspondence and transfer of information to and from Buyer and/or Seller from contract signing to closing.
- Analyze sales contracts and draft deal timelines in accordance with the PSA for each transaction to ensure a smooth process up to closing.
- Maintain and update the TMS Project Manager Pipeline to reflect deal stages.
- Arrange, book, and manage all travel and expenses for the sales team.
- Maintain an up-to-date market share tracker as deals close and incorporate changes with the marketing team.
- Oversee proper accounting system through internal software used for documentation and expense tracking purposes.
- Deal file management and internal compliance.
- Complete miscellaneous office-related administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Pre-Law, or Real Estate preferred.
- Commercial Real Estate experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Alabama Real Estate Salesperson License or ability to obtain is required.
- Ability to read and understand real estate documents (e.g., listing agreement, purchase and sale agreement, confidentiality agreement).
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask on several projects.

Pay
The compensation for this position is $27.12 - $31.91 per hour, depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
