Senior Training and Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, programmatic training to all employees for SCO Family of Services.
• Prepare the training environment to be conducive to learning, and ensure the space promotes interaction, group development, and accessibility for persons with disabilities.
• Aid in the development of training materials that meet identified training objectives.
• Participate in train the trainer and instructor walk-through activities.
• Participate in evaluation and updating of existing training materials.
• Keep training information and attendance current.
• Assist with annual conferences and events.
• Some evening and weekend training with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related human services field required; 3 years of experience in the human/social services field preferred.
• Preference given to candidates with 1 year of experience providing educational, training, or instructional services in functional areas.
• Experience with developing and utilizing online learning management systems (such as Relias, Cornerstone).
• Experience with peer advocacy.
• The ability to speak, write, and translate in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
