Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day activities of audit engagements
- Career coordination of client engagements from start to finish
- Prepare all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters
- Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and firm management
- Utilize proactive, effective communication with management, staff, and clients
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior associates
Requirements
- CPA or CPA candidate with 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
- Auditing experience is a must
- Government experience a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- Technical knowledge related to performing financial and compliance audits
- Supervisory experience preferred
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- Ability to use a personal vehicle for occasional same-day travel
