About the role
Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Senior Traffic Studies/Planning Engineer for our DeBary, FL office.
Responsibilities
- Project quality assurance and project team support
- Support of technical organization
- Support of business development
- Lead traffic studies related strategic and growth initiatives
- Aid in major project pursuits, new business development, and local client relationships
- Identify potential projects and develop strategies to win these projects as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients
- Draft and review scopes and fees for new projects
- Serve as Project Manager on key department projects
- Recommend operating policies, standards, and procedures
- Support the Traffic Department Manager(s) and the Traffic and ITS Group Manager for various operational needs
- Perform other functions delegated by the Traffic and ITS Engineering Group Manager and/or Transportation Market Leader
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or be able to obtain in a few months
- Traffic Engineering experience, and/or planning, analysis and studies experience
- Great written and oral communication skills
- PTOE or RSP certification
- Safety Planning experience
Qualifications
