Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology

About the role

Gilead Sciences is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology to represent our products and services to healthcare practitioners in the Northern New Jersey territory. This role involves promoting appropriate use of Gilead products, developing territory business plans, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Gilead and competitor products in oncology.
• Actively promote the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
• Partner with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and other internal Gilead team members.
• Ensure all department personnel are fully informed of and in compliance with Gilead commercial compliance policy, all applicable federal and state laws, and guidance relating to product promotion and information dissemination.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and 11+ years of experience, or an associates degree and 9+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Highly competitive market selling skills.
• A minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience.
• A proven and consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
• Previous product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree.
• Superior selling skills focused on highly competitive markets.
• Proven and consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $153,935.00 - $199,210.00.
• Discretionary annual bonus.
