Senior Test Lead

About the role

Overall IT experience of 8 to 10 Years. 4-6+ years of experience as SDET to assess software quality through automated testing using Cucumber, Selenium, Java, MongoDB, SQL/No SQL. 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. 4+ years of experience in Banking, Credit Card processing, API testing, Data / ETL testing. 2+ years of experience in test automation using AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Expert in BDD/TDD to collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, acceptance criteria and define test scenarios in Gherkin syntax
• Experience in implementing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and working with test data
• Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, evaluate product according to acceptance criteria, report bugs/errors to development teams, conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Proficient in QA Methodology, Agile frameworks, functional testing and regression testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Develop and execute automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and security of web applications
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless execution and reporting
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve them
• Ability to troubleshoot errors/gaps/defects, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Provide detailed reports on test coverage, execution results, and defect status
• Continuously improve the test automation process and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the test automation codebase
• Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and testing infrastructure

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation tools
• Familiarity with automation technologies and tools, such as robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow automation platforms
• Product implementation experience is preferred
• Good Communication skills
• Flexible to rotational shifts, 5 days WFO

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Manage day-to-day challenges and communicate developmental risks with the technical team

Good to have

• Experience with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress)
• Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools

Pay

Salary range $63000 to $134500
