Responsibilities
- Test planning and test case development
- Test execution and defect management
- Coordination with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders on test planning and defect resolution
- Staying current with latest testing methodologies and tools
- Training team members and stakeholders on effective communication and facilitation
Requirements
- Extensive experience in manual and automated testing, including test script development and execution
- Prioritization of test cases based on risk and business value
- Proven ability to coordinate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders on test planning and defect resolution
- Strong knowledge of testing tools, test environment configuration, and test automation strategies
- Experience in maintaining Test Traceability Matrices and managing defect lifecycle processes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and train team members and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software testing
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
- Experience with defect tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
