Senior QA Test Lead

About the role

This role involves test planning, test case development, test execution, defect management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and test case development
• Test execution and defect management
• Coordination with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders on test planning and defect resolution
• Staying current with latest testing methodologies and tools
• Training team members and stakeholders on test automation and other relevant topics

Requirements

• Extensive experience in manual and automated testing, including test script development and execution
• Prioritization of test cases based on business needs
• Strong knowledge of testing tools, test environment configuration, and test automation strategies
• Experience in maintaining Test Traceability Matrices and managing defect lifecycle processes
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and train team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Experience with defect tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
