About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Test Executive with at least 5 years of experience in the following fields: Test 1, Test 2, Test 3. This position is based in New York and offers visa assistance to international candidates.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is usually required.
- Significant experience in software testing and quality assurance, typically 8-10+ years.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a testing team or QA department.
- Experience in defining test strategies, creating test plans, and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application in software development projects.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and tools.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience in implementing and improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Knowledge of defect tracking and management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
