Senior Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Core Java, Selenium, and REST API to design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and enhance test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and software defects.
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Work closely with the team to ensure script implementation complies with best practices and testability requirements.
• Understand software workflows, use cases, and specifications to create automated tests across applications.
• Expand automation frameworks to provide additional test capabilities.
• Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development processes.
• Develop small utility tools in Java to support testing efforts.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in software test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Selenium with TestNG.
• Experience in REST API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Java concepts, programming, and data structures/algorithms.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and working with BDD.
• Good knowledge of automated testing processes, methodologies, and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with Jira and ALM.
• Good knowledge of database/SQL queries.
• Experience within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment.
• Cypress or Playwright experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge of AWS Services.

Pay

Salary range: $52,000 to $110,000 per year.
