Responsibilities
- Create successful transition plans for electronic designs moving into production and eventually into the Supply Chain.
- Lead test equipment and EIS issue resolution efforts to ensure a smooth transition of designs to production.
- Participate in and assist with supplier training of test equipment and/or providing test equipment requirements to aid in their development at the supplier.
- Transition of test equipment into Moog factory or manufacturing subcontractor site.
- Provide test equipment specifications and guidance for test equipment developed by subcontractor partners.
- Make updates to equipment and software to improve production efficiency while reducing test execution time.
- Lead cross-site efforts of New Product Introduction (NPI) for engineering and test aspects.
- Lead and support technical problem-solving efforts to resolve issues with complex electronic assemblies to resolve systemic non-conformances.
Requirements
- Must understand overall specifications / requirements and be able to troubleshoot to root cause while working closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Test on Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Typically, 10 years’ experience with demonstrated exceptional technical skills and knowledge.
- Proven capabilities for troubleshooting electronic hardware and software assemblies.
- Proven ability to lead and coach others and collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Notepad++.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise with the following (or similar) development tools:
- Programming: National Instruments Labview & Labwindows/CVI, Python, Microsoft visual Studio C/C++/C#
- Circuit card development: Cadence Orcad & Allegro
- Microprocessor: C, assembly language
Benefits
Salary Range: $100,000.00–$120,000.00 Annually
