Senior Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer (QE/SDET) with strong programming skills in Playwright with Java or Python. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions, supporting UI and API automation, and improving quality engineering practices across customer-facing applications. The candidate should have strong coding ability, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly, including learning Playwright if not already hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation solutions for UI and API testing.
• Enhance and support existing automation frameworks.
• Improve quality engineering practices across customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 6-12 years of experience in Quality Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Java or Python.
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of API testing and automation concepts.
• Experience working with Agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Skills

Good to Have

• API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools/frameworks.
• Experience testing microservices or distributed applications.
• Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar SDLC tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or device/browser test platforms.

Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Experience testing applications in one or more of the following areas:
  • CRM applications
  • Contact Center platforms
  • Customer Service applications
  • Customer Support / CSR applications

Pay

Salary range: $52,000 to $110,000
