About the role

We are seeking a Senior Territory Manager to join our team and deliver our unique connected care patient identification solutions to healthcare providers in Southern California. You’ll be representing a brand trusted in 90% of hospitals, with decades of experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Acute Hospital relationships with a MedTech and Medsurg focus, targeting IT, Clinical, and Supply Chain/Purchasing relationships in Southern California.
  • Maintain business in existing accounts and generate new business in both existing and prospective customers.
  • Travel to and call on Healthcare Acute Hospitals in the assigned region.
  • Use a consultative approach to demonstrate product application and function, combined with systems efficiency concepts, to showcase the "total value, one-stop-shop advantage" of PDC’s connected healthcare solutions across Printers, Scanners, Wristbands, Labels, and critical service offerings.
  • Consult with customers, selling application-based solutions at all levels within account assignments, including groups, committees, C-Suite, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and Supervisors across Clinical, IT, and Supply Chain.
  • Establish and implement a weekly sales activity plan to achieve projected sales quotas and manage the account base to meet sales goals.
  • Plan, adapt, and modify sales approaches and presentations based on individual customer needs.
  • Create business plans and forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Represent PDC at trade shows to promote products and services, demonstrating products using samples or catalogs while emphasizing customer benefits.
  • Develop long-term internal and external customer relationships.
  • Provide proactive input for new solutions development.
  • Submit recommendations for changes in existing procedures, services, or new product extensions to increase sales volume.
  • Effectively plan, direct, and coordinate all field sales activities within the assigned region, including visits to customer locations to gather competitive intelligence and resolve problems.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota through consistent conversion of targeted accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare space is required.
  • Documented success in Clinical, IT, and Supply Chain Healthcare Sales.
  • Experience selling business products or services with a mix of Hardware solutions and high-volume consumables.
  • Track record of increasing sales volume and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with deadline pressures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Critical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and cooperatively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Salesforce.com (sf.com) preferred.
  • Must be willing to work from a remote or home office.
