About the role
The Senior Technology Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training programs, user documentation, and instructional materials. This role supports both proprietary court software and advanced off-the-shelf applications (such as Microsoft Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and SharePoint).
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deliver hands-on, instructor-led training (in-person and virtual) using adult learning principles for individuals and group settings.
- Develop technical documentation (Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, web content), video tutorials, and interactive learning modules using tools like Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond.
- Manage training projects from initiation to completion, organizing concurrent initiatives and coordinating across stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Identify user-defined technical challenges, implement effective training solutions, and uphold customer service standards with internal/external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Maintain clear communication with the Contract Manager regarding project plans, statuses, and updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Required).
- 5+ years as a technology trainer specializing in proprietary and advanced off-the-shelf software (Preferred).
- 3+ years developing technical documentation and instructional materials (Preferred).
Skills
- Software Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, SharePoint).
- Technical Authoring Tools: Proficiency in Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, or similar training development software.
- Core Competencies: Strong time management, multi-tasking abilities, and structured training methodologies.
