About the role

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting seeks a strategic, customer-focused Senior Product Manager to define and deliver outcomes across the tax product lifecycle. This role acts as a Product Definer, responsible for translating customer and market signals into clear problem definitions, product strategies, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize customer feedback, product usage data, competitive intelligence, market research, and business objectives into clear problem statements and product opportunities.
  • Define product vision, objectives, key results (OKRs), success metrics, and measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Develop high-quality product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation that are traceable to desired outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize growth opportunities, customer segments, and high-value use cases.
  • Balance short-term delivery objectives with long-term strategic investments.
  • Lead customer discovery efforts, voice-of-customer research, interviews, surveys, and workflow analysis.
  • Translate customer problems into user journeys, design principles, solution hypotheses, and acceptance criteria.
  • Leverage AI and agentic tools to accelerate customer research, competitive analysis, documentation, experimentation, and product discovery activities.
  • Define, monitor, and act upon product success metrics including adoption, retention, engagement, customer satisfaction, revenue, and growth indicators.
  • Collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of product management or related experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing B2B SaaS, workflow, platform, or enterprise software products.
  • Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Experience driving product launches, commercialization activities, and cross-functional execution.

Skills

  • Product Strategy: Ability to define product vision, prioritize investments, make trade-off decisions, and connect strategy to measurable outcomes.
  • Customer-Centric Discovery: Demonstrated expertise in customer research, jobs-to-be-done analysis, workflow discovery, journey mapping, and problem validation.
  • Commercialization & Growth: Experience supporting product commercialization activities, including positioning, pricing, packaging, launch readiness, adoption, and sales enablement.
  • AI Readiness: Strong understanding of AI and generative AI concepts with the ability to leverage AI as a force multiplier across discovery, experimentation, planning, and execution activities.
  • SaaS Product Management: Experience managing cloud-based products with usage-based metrics, continuous delivery, and iterative product development practices.

Pay

Compensation: $85,600.00 - $149,400.00 USD. This role is eligible for Bonus.

Schedule

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%. Normal office environment.
