Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop NAND memory trim, push the performance and reliability envelope of flash memory which is used in best-in-class high-density storage applications
- Work in partnership with NAND design and system development teams to drive technology & product development
- Define, develop and execute NAND flash memory performance and reliability tests; analyze & report data to cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements
- Communicate & work with members from process, design, reliability, and system groups to ensure timely product device support, memory qualification, and ramp of volume production
Qualifications
- MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process, and reliability, as well as circuit design. NAND flash memory device and physics knowledge is also a must.
- C/C++/Java Programming and Perl/Python Scripting
- Ability to analyze problem and work independently as required
Preferred skills
- PhD degree
- Industry experience in semiconductor memory development, device engineering, reliability engineering, product/test engineering, is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
