Senior Technician-Equipment

Job Description

Microchip DPG has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Technician-Equipment. The right candidate will repair and maintain electro-mechanical equipment used in the production semiconductor equipment, or any other duties, as directed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to repair electro-mechanical equipment or assemblies.
• Ability to perform PM and general maintenance on production equipment.
• Ability to work from schematics, mechanical drawings, or written instructions.
• Experience in the use of multimeters, soldering irons and mechanical tools.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to use MS Office.
• Ability to interface with parts or service vendors.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 7-9 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of production manufacturing equipment.
• Trade school or post high school certificate training in electronics.
• Experience with calibration of equipment, vacuum systems, and electronics.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Machine shop experience.

Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $24.52-$53.85.* Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
