Microchip’s Discrete Products Group (DPG) offers one of the industry's most comprehensive power and RF/microwave discrete semiconductor product portfolios. The DPG encompasses two business units, the Power Discrete & Modules BU and the RF/Microwave Discrete BU. Markets the PDM & RF/MW Discrete BU's address include: alternative energy, industrial, medical, defense, commercial aviation, communications, embedded systems, motor control, power solutions, sensors and security.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Metrology, calibration of manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to calibrate and perform repairs on test equipment and production equipment.
• Ability to organize and maintain a calibration system for calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to work from schematics, mechanical drawings, or written instructions.
• Ability to interface with auditors.
• Experience in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, other test equipment for calibration, calibration standards, soldering irons and mechanical tools.
• Familiarity with ISO-1725, MIL-453662A desired.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to use MS Office.
• Ability to interface with parts or service vendors.
• Trade school or post high school certificate training in electronics desired.

Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $24.52 - $53.85. Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
