About the role
The Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner will own full-cycle recruiting for complex technical requisitions across multiple engineering disciplines. They will act as the subject matter expert on technical hiring, coaching Hiring Managers through role definition, interview process, feedback calibration, and closing candidates. This role requires a scrappy, resourceful approach to identifying and sourcing hard-to-find talent, strong written communication skills, and comfort working in ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Owning full-cycle recruiting for complex technical requisitions across multiple engineering disciplines
- Acting as the subject matter expert on technical hiring
- Serving as a go-to resource for sourcing and process questions
- Defining the scope and approach for hard-to-fill roles, including market mapping and pipeline strategy
- Diving into creative sourcing across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, conference rosters, patent databases, and niche communities
- Running structured, candidate-first interview loops that reflect Arc's high bar for talent, values, and brand
- Bringing pipeline data and conversion metrics to weekly reviews and iterating on what's working
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience at a high-growth startup or hardware/deep tech company
- Demonstrated success owning complex requisitions across at least two of: Electrical Systems, Hardware, Manufacturing, or adjacent disciplines
- Experience serving as a calibration partner and trusted advisor to engineering Hiring Managers
- A scrappy, resourceful approach demonstrated creativity identifying and sourcing hard-to-find talent
- Strong written communication skills; your outreach converts because it's relevant, genuine, and interesting
- Comfort working in ambiguity and shifting priorities; you thrive without a rigid playbook
- Proficiency with sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and at least a few creative alternatives
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience at a company building physical products (EV, aerospace, robotics, marine, automotive, or similar)
- Familiarity with engineering roles in an electrification or power systems context
- Experience building out sourcing infrastructure from scratch — templates, workflows, sourcing channels
- Prior experience collaborating with or supporting a small recruiting team
- Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
- Enthusiasm for boating and the water
