Senior Technical Specialist � Prime Brokerage

About the role

This role is based in New York City, NY and requires 3 days per week working from the office. The Technical Specialist will utilize expertise in Java, Python, Linux, and C++ to develop and implement technical solutions, focusing on designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Python, Linux, and C++
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design appropriate technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the software development lifecycle
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java, Python, Linux, and C++
• Document technical specifications and user guides for developed applications

Requirements

• Prime brokerage background in equities (required)
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Linux, and C++ programming languages
• Experience with software development methodologies and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• 3 days per week working from the office in NYC

Relevant certifications in Java, Python, Linux, and C++ would be a plus.
