About the Opportunity:The SENIOR TECHNICAL SEO SPECIALIST role is focused on leading the technical SEO program to ensure the website's technical health supports optimal crawlability, indexation, and ranking. This position is responsible for managing site architecture, international SEO, and new page launches while leveraging AI-assisted workflows to prioritize impactful SEO improvements. The role collaborates with multiple teams to align technical SEO efforts with content and marketing strategies, directly influencing search performance and business outcomes. Responsibilities:Lead technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, rendering, redirects, canonicals, internal linking, structured data, and page quality.Utilize and enhance AI-assisted workflows to translate data into prioritized SEO fixes.Identify and resolve content duplication and cannibalization to clarify page ranking focus.Collaborate with Web Engineering to address site errors, performance issues, and traffic impact.Optimize high-intent pages to improve ranking and conversion on non-brand searches.Enhance information architecture, navigation, and internal linking to capture long-tail search demand.Manage technical SEO for international sites, including hreflang, sitemaps, canonicals, and localized content.Define SEO requirements for new templates and provide quality assurance for site launches and redesigns.Communicate technical SEO issues and solutions clearly to engineering and marketing stakeholders. Requirements:Minimum 5 years of technical SEO experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or complex environments.Bachelor’s degree.Expertise in crawling, indexation, JavaScript SEO, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, hreflang, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, performance, and mobile user experience.Experience in scaling information architecture for diverse page types and international content.Knowledge of schema.org/JSON-LD and keyword cannibalization diagnosis.Proven collaboration with web and engineering teams to implement SEO fixes and measure results.Experience applying AI or agentic workflows for SEO audits with human oversight.Strong understanding of advanced SEO concepts including AEO, generative search, structured data, and algorithm updates.Analytical skills with proficiency in relevant SEO tools and web analytics.Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Compensation varies by geographic location with ranges: San Francisco, CA $97,000—$121,000 USD; New York City and Seattle, WA $93,000—$116,000 USD; other US locations $84,000—$105,000 USD.Benefits include health, pharmacy, optical and dental care, paid time off, sick leave, short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
