Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical needs, role requirements, and team goals
- Advise on recruitment strategies, market trends, and competitive compensation
- Support workforce planning by anticipating future hiring needs
- Own the recruitment process from intake to offer for roles such as software engineering, product, IT, and data science
- Manage job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, collect feedback, and negotiate offers
- Proactively identify and engage top technical talent using sourcing platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.
- Build and maintain diverse pipelines for current and future roles
- Leverage employee referrals and networking to expand reach
- Maintain accurate candidate records and reporting in the ATS
- Analyze and share recruiting metrics to improve time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and candidate conversion
- Recommend improvements to streamline workflows and ensure consistency across teams
- Promote the company’s culture, values, and tech mission through recruitment touchpoints
- Collaborate with marketing and hiring teams to develop compelling job descriptions and campaigns
- Represent the company at tech events, meetups, and industry conferences (as applicable)
- Act as the primary ATS subject matter expert
- Maintain recruiting workflows, templates, candidate communications, and system configurations
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to improve ATS adoption and data quality
- Develop recruiting dashboards and reports to support workforce planning and hiring decisions
- Stay current on emerging AI trends impacting talent acquisition
- Assess candidate use of AI throughout the recruitment process and ensure evaluation methods remain effective and equitable
Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth or tech-focused environments
- Deep understanding of technical roles, functions, and industry trends
- Strong sourcing skills and fluency with ATS and CRM tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment

- Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications
