About the role

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team in Herndon, VA. You will leverage your extensive recruiting expertise and leadership skills to support Intel and Defense efforts, ensuring the mission is staffed with top-tier technical professionals across a variety of complex programs. This position requires onsite support 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for high-level technical positions while partnering with hiring managers and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for niche talent.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to offer recommendations, guidance, and direction for strategic hiring, market intelligence, hiring mechanics, and hiring compliance.
  • Collaborate and consult with hiring managers to understand and help write detailed and compelling job descriptions, determine effective screening questions, and post requisitions.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate external and internal candidates for job openings who meet the position requirements and negotiate and extend offers on behalf of ManTech with hiring managers to act as a business partner within the division/sector.
  • Participate in recruitment branding initiatives and represent ManTech at industry events and career fairs.
  • Ensure all phases of the recruiting process are conducted in accordance with ManTech’s Ethics, Legal, and Human Resources policies.
  • Utilize technology including Workday and Avature to keep accurate and compliant records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of full life cycle, government contracting experience in technical recruiting.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling complex technical roles in Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Information Technology.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional Talent Acquisition organizations, leveraging enterprise resources to execute and scale complex staffing strategies.
  • Experience consulting Executives, Hiring Managers, and key stakeholders with data-driven insights on staffing strategies and market trends to influence recruiting outcomes.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills, dedicated to maintaining organization to drive efficiency.
  • US Citizenship (required for clearance).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in resource management that oversees personnel allocation, project staffing, and talent operations.
  • Advanced certification in recruitment or human resources (e.g., AIRS, SHRM-CP).
  • Experience supporting recruitment efforts for the Intel and/or Department of Defense environments.
  • Experience using advanced Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools for talent engagement.
  • Deep understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
