Senior Technical Program Manager, Prime Video, Prime Video - Linear Experience

About the role

The Technical Program Manager will own and drive delivery of high-impacting programs related to Live TV (Sports, and Live Channels) at Prime Video. This role involves coordinating across multiple engineering teams, disciplines, and client platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across multiple engineering teams, disciplines (engineering, product, design, UX research, BIE, and QA)
• Work across many groups within and outside Prime Video
• Get deep insights into the entire business
• Lead key strategic programs for Prime Video that have a worldwide impact
• Deliver innovative and industry leading features to customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

• Excellent leadership skills and strategic thinking
• Strong technical expertise
• Ability to partner effectively across teams within and outside of Amazon
• Ability to manage high-impact projects
• Understand the fundamentals of the latest video technology and launch large scale video services/features involving multiple teams within and outside of Prime Video
• Influence business, product, and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for customers

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
