Senior Technical Program Manager, Prime Video, Prime Video - Linear Experience

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to own and drive delivery of high-impacting programs related to Live TV (Sports, and Live Channels). In this role, you will coordinate across multiple engineering teams, disciplines (engineering, product, design, UX research, BIE, and QA), and client platforms (mobile, living room devices, and web) — each with their own roadmaps, priorities, and constraints. You'll have the opportunity to work across many groups within and outside Prime Video while getting deep insights into our entire business.

The Senior TPM role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, the ability to partner effectively across teams within and outside of Amazon, and the ability to manage high-impact projects. As a member of the team, you’ll need to have the ability to understand the fundamentals of the latest video technology and what it takes to launch large scale video services and features that involve multiple teams within and outside of Prime Video. In addition to this, you’ll need to be able to influence business, product and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across multiple engineering teams, disciplines, and client platforms to drive delivery of high-impacting programs related to Live TV (Sports and Live Channels).
• Manage programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Develop and execute product and technical roadmaps.
• Build and evaluate system-level technical design.
• Define KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and report to senior leadership.
• Influence business, product, and technology leaders while advocating for customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
