Senior Technical Program Manager, EC2 Gov
About the role
The Senior Technical Program Manager will deliver server and GPU capacity at gigawatt scale, partnering across various functions to meet the demands of AWS's largest Government customers and frontier AI workloads.
Responsibilities
- Own EC2 capacity delivery against global commitments to AWS's largest Government customers and frontier-AI workloads.
- Define and build a new program to reduce friction for AWS Service teams shipping to Government regions.
- Produce executive-visible reporting that drives capacity, capital, and engineering-investment decisions.
- Set strategy and program structure where none exists, and drive cross-functional alignment at scale.
- Influence priorities across software, hardware, supply chain, networking, datacenter engineering, power, compliance, and finance — up to three tiers above your level.
- Partner with engineering to ship the systems and automation that make both programs scale.
Requirements
The candidate must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Pay
Base salary range: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
