About the Role
The company is growing quickly, and as its Product & Engineering organization expands, it is looking for someone who thrives on bringing clarity, structure, and operational excellence to fast-moving teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive day-to-day execution of the software development lifecycle, maintaining alignment between teams without sacrificing speed.
- Manage work within the Product & Engineering organization from triage through to completion.
- Maintain GitHub Projects as the source of truth for engineering execution and provide leadership with clear visibility to the status of all work done by engineers, product builders, and designers.
- Partner with leaders of Product, Engineering, Design, and QA to continuously improve how software is built.
- Manage the work of Product Builders responsible for leveraging agentic coding to create new workflows and improve existing ones. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires exceptional organization, sound judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Engineering Operations, or a similar role supporting software engineering organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading execution across multiple engineering teams in a high-growth technology company.
- A strong understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile, Scrum, Git-based development workflows, CI/CD, and software release processes.
- Experience managing technical programs from planning through delivery, coordinating dependencies, resolving blockers, and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Comfortable partnering with highly technical engineering leaders while effectively communicating with Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
- Experience using engineering planning and collaboration tools such as GitHub Projects, Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage many concurrent initiatives without losing attention to detail.
- Strong judgment and the ability to balance competing priorities while helping teams make thoughtful tradeoffs.
- Prowed proof of proven ability to improve engineering processes and operational efficiency without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical work into clear updates for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Highly proactive and self-directed. The individual identifies problems before they become blockers and builds systems that help teams operate more effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve quickly and ambiguity is expected.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting AI/ML, developer infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS or enterprise software companies.
- Familiarity with GitHub Projects as an engineering planning tool.
- Experience working alongside QA and release management organizations.
- Familiarity with legal technology, document-intensive workflows, or regulated industries.
- Experience introducing operational metrics, dashboards, or engineering KPIs to improve delivery predictability.
Additional Information
Salary Range ($160K to $190K) plus health insurance and equity. United States - Remote Pay Range$160,000—$190,000 USD
