Senior Technical Director, Electrical Engineer
About the role
This opportunity at WSP is driving the future of industrial facility design through innovation, technical excellence, and integrated delivery. We are seeking a Senior Technical Director, Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence (CoE), setting the technical vision and driving growth across key industrial markets including manufacturing, food & beverage, advanced facilities, and energy transition.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the national strategy and vision for Electrical Engineering across the Industrial CoE
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing business investment, innovation, and growth priorities
Drive market expansion and revenue growth across industrial sectors (Manufacturing, Advanced Facilities, Energy, etc.)
Establish WSP as a recognized industry leader in industrial electrical systems and infrastructure
Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, including Fortune 500 and global industrial clients
Champion innovation, digital delivery, and advanced technologies (smart manufacturing, electrification, decarbonization)
Ensure consistent delivery of complex, large-scale industrial projects with technical excellence and quality
Lead, mentor, and inspire regional and national leadership teams across electrical engineering
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
15+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and leadership roles
Proven experience in executive leadership, business growth, and large-scale operations
Strong track record managing P&L, strategic growth, and complex project portfolios
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
Deep expertise in industrial power systems, manufacturing facilities, and mission-critical environments
Recognized as an industry leader with strong external presence and influence
Qualifications

Expected Salary: $168,900 - $283,600
