About the Opportunity: The Senior Technical Customer Support Engineer, Federal serves as the primary technical liaison for U.S. federal and public-sector customers. This role provides specialized technical support while addressing the security, compliance, and operational requirements of government environments. The position helps customers securely deploy, configure, operate, and troubleshoot the platform while representing federal customer needs across internal teams. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary technical support contact for U.S. federal and public-sector customers while adhering to applicable communication and data-handling standards.• Develop and document technical solutions tailored to government deployment scenarios.• Guide customers through secure platform deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational processes within authorized government environments.• Collaborate with Support Services, Engineering, Security and Compliance, Product Management, and Go-To-Market teams to represent federal customer needs.• Support technical aspects of federal proof-of-concept initiatives, security questionnaires, and Authority to Operate-related evaluations.• Provide professional technical support through multiple communication channels while meeting established service-level expectations.• Build trusted relationships with government stakeholders, partners, and other customer representatives.• Maintain strong awareness of security, compliance, and data-handling considerations when supporting sensitive government environments. Requirements: • U.S. Person status verified before receiving an offer.• Technical expertise with the organization’s platform or related technologies such as SQL databases, OLAP systems, cloud-native SaaS, and distributed systems.• Professional experience in a technical role such as Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.• Knowledge of federal IT operational and compliance environments, including FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, AWS GovCloud, or comparable frameworks.• Strong written and verbal communication skills with sound judgment when handling sensitive information.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in rigorous government customer environments.• Collaborative and team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across technical and business functions.• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and processes. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Typical U.S. starting salary range: $139,000–$175,000 USD annually.• San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area salary range: $155,000–$194,000 USD annually.
