Responsibilities
- Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and nonprofits.
- Lead strategic tax planning and consulting initiatives, providing proactive guidance to help clients achieve business and financial objectives.
- Manage multiple client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering technical growth and professional excellence.
- Research and interpret evolving tax laws, identifying implications and opportunities for clients and the firm.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to refine processes, enhance client service, and support business development efforts.
- Participate in strategic firm initiatives, including workflow optimization and technology adoption.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with at least 3 years in a management or senior leadership role.
- Deep technical expertise in complex tax structures, compliance, and planning strategies.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with proven success managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with tax and research software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.

Pay
$120,000 – $150,000 per year
