Senior Tax Associate, Financial Services

About the role

This role is in the compliance practice and involves assisting on large projects requiring strong technical skills. It includes tax consulting and compliance services, preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for partnerships and investment vehicles, analyzing financial products, and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Support tax consulting and compliance services
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships and investment vehicles
• Absorb and analyze financial products, transaction tax implications, and partnership allocations
• Contribute to tax research, technical memos, and client deliverables
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate work while gaining exposure to complex financial products
• Participate in engagement planning, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s or advanced tax degree preferred)
• CPA or progress toward CPA
• 2–4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably within financial services
• Foundational understanding of partnership taxation and flow-through structures
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Interest in developing expertise around financial products and investment entities

Pay

$72,700.00 - $144,000.00 per year

Schedule

Hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Remote work arrangements may be considered for candidates not within commuting distance of a Crowe office.
