About the role

This role is in the compliance practice and involves assisting on large projects. Strong technical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with clients on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects.
  • Preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for partnerships and investment vehicles.
  • Analyzing financial products, transaction tax implications, and partnership allocations.
  • Contribute to tax research, technical memos, and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate work while gaining exposure to complex financial products.
  • Engage in engagement planning, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s or advanced tax degree preferred).
  • CPA or progress toward CPA.
  • 2–4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Foundational understanding of partnership taxation and flow-through structures.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Interest in developing expertise around financial products and investment entities.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $72,700.00 - $144,000.00 per year.

Schedule

This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Remote work arrangements may be considered for candidates not within commuting distance of a Crowe office, subject to business needs.
