Role Summary
The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in supporting tax compliance, reporting, and cross-functional finance initiatives across a multi-entity global organization. This position partners closely with accounting, treasury, and external advisors to ensure accurate filings, strong controls, and efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple entities
- Aid in preparation and review of income, sales and use, and other indirect tax filings
- Maintain tax calendars, documentation, and detailed workpapers to support filings and audits
- Partner cross-functionally with tax, treasury, and accounting teams on reporting and special projects
- Cook up with external tax advisors and vendors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and analytical support for tax provisions and reporting
- Aid in audits, notices, and regulatory inquiries by gathering information and supporting documentation
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and data analysis for strategic initiatives
Key Requirements
- 3 to 5 plus years of tax or accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with both direct and indirect taxes including income and sales and use tax exposure
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and large datasets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with external tax advisors, consultants, or service providers
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and process improvement focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
