Senior Tax Analyst
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare annual tax compliance for partnerships, S-corporations, and private foundations that operate in multiple states
- Afford assistance with shareholder distribution and tax payment calculations
- Coordinate with third-party tax providers regarding the preparation of shareholder related income tax returns
- Maintain fixed asset ledger for accounting and tax related depreciation expense
- Serve as one of the organization’s contacts to address questions related to sales and use tax compliance for construction related operations
- Prioritize between multiple projects on a time-sensitive basis
Candidate Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of tax-related compliance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or EA strongly preferred
- Experience in the preparation of complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations
- Working knowledge of passthrough taxation and PTE tax required
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Sage Fixed Assets, Lacerte Tax, ProSeries Tax, OneSource Tax, and RIA Checkpoint
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication (oral and written) skills
- Exceptional business ethics
- Detail-oriented and adheres to industry professionalism standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to effectively communicate with legal, business, finance, and technical professionals
Pay & Schedule
Pay will be commensurate with skills and experience. This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
