Job Details

  • Prepare and review tax returns for partnerships, real estate, and individuals.
  • Research new and existing tax regulations/laws and assess their impact on the business.
  • Monitor and forecast capital expenditure reserves and identify any needs based on current and future projects.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow needs and risk analysis to ensure financial stability.
  • Aid in preparing construction loan draw requests and managing the disbursement process.
  • Aid in preparing regulatory filings and payments, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop strategies for tax planning and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
  • Real estate experience is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and apply tax regulations/laws.
  • Experience with preparing work papers and financial reports.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction loan draw requests is a plus.
  • Proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
