Responsibilities
- Prepare and review 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041, 1040 returns.
- Payroll Tax, Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax Returns.
- Prepare Tax planning
- Reconciling depreciation and shareholder basis issues
- Some development of monthly & annual financial statements, including cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets.
- perform research on and interpret complex accounting and tax topics to apply to clients.
- Troubleshooting & overseeing accounts by reconciling journal entries
- Some Client development and engagement – building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, and consulting
Requirements
- Ultra-Tax Experience
- QuickBooks Experience
- CPA Preferred
- 2-3-years Public accounting firm experience
- Experience with multi-state individual and corporate tax preparation
- Skilled multi-tasker that can handle numerous engagements at once while managing strict deadlines.
