About The Job

We are seeking a Senior Talent Lead to play a pivotal role in scaling our global healthcare innovation platform. This individual will collaborate closely with senior Redesign Health leadership to define, optimize, and execute talent attraction strategies across internal hiring and our broader talent ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior leadership to understand talent needs and provide strategic guidance on team structure, hiring strategies, and market insights.
  • Talent acquisition strategy development and execution: Leading the development, execution, and iteration of talent strategies to assist Redesign Founders in attracting their most critical founding team members.
  • Identifying and engaging potential candidates through various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to support the Ventures team and other Redesign Health initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end searches from initial candidate evaluations through offer completion, ensuring alignment with company culture and providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Providing data-driven insights to stakeholders on talent acquisition trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Advising select portfolio companies on talent attraction strategies and priority recruiting needs.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience in venture capital or a technology startup.
  • Demonstrated track record of attracting and recruiting exceptional candidates in fast-paced environments and holding a high bar for talent.
  • Core focus in technical recruiting with a proven ability to identify, attract, and evaluate in-demand engineering and technical talent.
  • Able to anticipate future trends and align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals, diving into details when necessary to address challenges.
  • Excellent at building trust and inspiring confidence, fostering a cohesive work environment, and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Skilled at identifying and communicating insights, updates, and recommendations clearly, driving alignment and action with urgency.
  • Thrives in high-growth environments, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and challenges.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to maximize productivity.
  • Self-starter who excels in entrepreneurial environments, able to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across time zones.
  • Deep interest in healthcare venture and innovation, with global experience preferred and the ability to quickly adapt to new markets and cultures.

Location & Compensation

This role will be based in either New York City (NYC) or San Francisco (SF), and ideally work in a hybrid fashion 3 days per week. Compensation will range between $140K-$175K, depending on location and experience, and also includes compelling fund equity.
