Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Senior Talent Advisor - Corporate to join our Cummins Inc. team in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead talent acquisition strategies that attract and secure top talent aligned with business objectives.
- Develop diverse sourcing channels and talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to drive efficient, high-quality hiring decisions.
- Enhance recruiting effectiveness through data-driven analysis, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activities are executed in compliance with applicable laws, policies, and organizational standards.
- Influence and coach stakeholders throughout the hiring process to strengthen talent outcomes and decision-making.
- Strengthen Cummins’ employer brand through candidate engagement and strategic recruitment marketing efforts.
- Drive cross-functional recruiting initiatives that improve candidate experience, operational efficiency, and business results.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead recruitment initiatives while effectively balancing business priorities, stakeholder expectations, and talent needs.
- Strong expertise in sourcing, assessing, and selecting talent through structured, objective, and inclusive recruiting practices.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and consulting skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated capability to leverage analytics, business insights, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- A proactive leadership approach characterized by adaptability, sound judgment, customer focus, and a commitment to delivering results.
Qualifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- PREFERRED: Preferred experience leading high-performing recruiting teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
- PREFERRED: Demonstrated ability to guide, coach, and support recruiters while driving consistent execution of talent acquisition strategies.
- PREFERRED: Skilled in utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and sourcing tools to manage workflows, reporting, and candidate pipelines.
- PREFERRED: Strong capability to analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
- PREFERRED: Experience building and maintaining strategic partnerships with hiring leaders, HR teams, and external talent sources.
- PREFERRED: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while maintaining focus on candidate quality, compliance, and business outcomes.
