About the Role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will plan, coordinate and execute staff recruiting activities to increase applicant flow, reduce time to hire cycles, and help to ensure adequate, qualified staff throughout the agency in support of Horizon’s programs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of online and offline staff recruiting and outreach activities.
  • Create effective recruitment plans and materials.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve recruiting goals.
  • Travel to outlying Arizona sites and work some evenings and/or weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum 2 years full-cycle recruiting experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong planning, project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong internal and external customer relations skills.
  • Creative, innovative thinker and idea generator.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to perform duties with cultural competency and respect for diversity.
  • Able to interact effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
  • Mental and emotional sound judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to analyze variables and situations and process information quickly.
  • Ability to greet and interact effectively with patients, staff, community members, business representatives, and the general public.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, non-defensive, and supportive attitude during difficult interactions.
  • Ability to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.

Physical Requirements

  • Long periods of sitting; working with keyboard and computer screens.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to operate phone, fax, copier, and computer.
  • Able to operate Agency vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Staff recruiting experience in an integrated healthcare environment.
