Senior Systems Engineer
About the role
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead technical efforts in the design and implementation of safety-related Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems. This role requires strong engineering expertise, project leadership, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review Functional Logic Diagrams and Design Specifications.
- Perform reliability analyses using tools such as Reliability Workbench.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex system issues.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and technical risk assessments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Systems, or Nuclear Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in I&C systems or safety-critical systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and reliability analysis tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., NRC standards) preferred.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
