About the role

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our McKinney, TX location. SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers.

As the Senior Systems Engineer you will join the AMRAAM PUMA Engineering Manufacturing and Development program as a member of the Systems Engineering Team. You will be responsible for systems engineering technical rigor throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle as it applies across a new missile sub-system and component design program.

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain sub-assembly requirements within DOORS
  • Create, Update, maintain, and improve Cameo diagrams for the new design
  • Guide, support, and document product-based verification test execution
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs to include Cross-Functional collaboration and coordination
  • Support test equipment software integration and verification for system test

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.

  • Experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience on Missile Program
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated tools including Cameo and DOORS
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Masters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics
  • A self-starter who can take on task with limited guidance.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with cPDM
  • Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures along with DoD customer infrastructure experience
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Familiarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration management
  • Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
  • Prior work experience giving technical briefs or presentations

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Schedule

This role is 100% on-site at our McKinney, TX campus.
