Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 8 months Employment Type: Staff Augmentation We are hiring for the role of Senior Systems Analyst. Below are the key details: Role Overview Facilitate software development efforts, document critical business processes, and analyze business functions for efficiency opportunities. Serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting development, maintenance, and system re-engineering for applications managing complex financial business processes. Key Responsibilities Work as a developer, facilitator and subject matter expert for applications and services dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented. Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments. Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues with troubleshooting tools and techniques as well as teamwork. Work with the team toward continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation. Work in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards. Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies. Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a lead developer or development manager. 5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases. Strong proficiency in relational database terminology, concepts, and SQL. Proven background in the development and maintenance of software systems handling complex financial business processes. Demonstrated ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions. Strong track record of guiding development teams, supporting continuous improvement, and applying sound quality assurance practices. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and stakeholder-facing communication skills. Preferred Skills Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET Object-Relational Mappings (ORMs), Entity Framework, and NHibernate Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
