Labor Category: Engineer Systems III Location: Indian Head, MD (On-site) Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required Job Type: Full-time Contract Type: Government Contract (Base Year plus four Option Years) Position Overview Seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to provide technical support to the Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity (NOSSA). This role is critical for supporting energetics, explosives, and weapons-systems programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Navy ordnance environmental and explosives-safety programs, with a focus on performance metric tools, database maintenance, and full life cycle process support. This is a non-personal services contract position. The contractor employee reports directly to the Prime Contractor for HR, disciplinary, and administrative matters, while receiving work direction from the NOSSA Government Task Manager and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). This is an in-person, on-site position with telework authorized at the Command's discretion based on specific job responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Provide direct technical support to the Insensitive Munitions Office (IMO) and other vital departments regarding energetics, explosives, and weapons systemsSupport the generation and maintenance of Explosives Safety performance metric tools and related databases (e.g., ESCS).
