Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer

About the role

Responsible for ensuring high quality standards across supply chain operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust quality management systems aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality and adherence to contractual specifications.
• Facilitate training programs for team members on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
• Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Experience with supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in quality control.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
• Performance-Based Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary based on company and individual performance.
