Responsibilities

  • Determine priorities and goals for the Weekly Sales & Operations Execution process, aligned with Bridgestone's overall strategy.
  • Analyze Supply & Demand data to identify candidates for the Demand Control process.
  • Create Inventory targets by Distribution Center (DC) and work with deployment to maintain.
  • Lead relevant departments through the Demand Control process in support of strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor and align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to S&OE; inform common understanding across business functions of current state of business, relative to targets and objectives.
  • Identify and quantify relevant risks and opportunities to the operating plan by business unit.
  • Actively engage senior leadership in decision-making process, especially across high-stake areas within their business units.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence others to achieve results. Effective communication throughout the organization and ability to articulate difficult ideas and concepts through concise verbal and/or written communication.
  • Results oriented, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making, and ability to identify key findings and implications.
  • Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Demand Planning, Sales, Supply Planning, Logistics and Customer Service teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Must be well organized, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
