About the role
Serves as SAP Supply Chain Management Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) subject matter expert (SME) & Super User, site lead and trainer. Acts as Site Area Responsible Super User for SAP EWM.
Relationships
Reports to Manager.
Essential Functions
- Establish & maintain standards, SOPs & requirements for Site SAP Extended Warehouse Management
- Interpret Supply Chain Management-related data using a wide variety of techniques ranging from simple aggregations & statistical analyses to complex data mining & forecasting techniques
- Create transparency in the Supply Chain by developing metrics & monitoring systems to track, analyze, & improve master data quality, transaction data timeliness, & adherence to global standards
- Analyze, develop & optimize logistics workflow processes to improve production, distribution, communication, & inventory levels
- Train, support & coach site on SAP EWM
- Participate in Area Responsible Super User (ARSU) meetings & workshops
- Provide support, training & guidance for SAP EWM warehouse operations
- Provide analysis, advisory services, specification and complex problem solving
- Lead and assist in SAP EWM design and configuration Blueprint workshops
- Develop, test and deploy code into the test and active SAP environment
- Develop and deliver reliable system training to ensure all users are property trained in system functionality & business use expectations
- Test SAP EWM systems, updates & functional changes to ensure the system continues to meet business objectives & user requirements
- Prepare reports & Establish SAP EWM KPIs
- Ensure that all SAP EWM project goals are accomplished according to project timeline & business specifications
- Work with team members on SAP Basis related tasks around performance monitoring, performance tuning, test automation and others
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study from an accredited university required; MBA preferred
- May consider an Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain or a related field from an accredited university with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning or in a role supporting Manufacturing required
- May consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning or in a role supporting Manufacturing required
