Senior Supplier Quality & Process Engineer

About the role

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Supplier Process Senior Engineer in Marysville, OH. You will champion supplier manufacturing process improvements, resolve systemic delivery bottlenecks, and ensure tier-1 automotive suppliers consistently deliver high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on supplier delivery delays, production bottlenecks, and OEE losses.
• Partner with supplier executive leadership to establish and execute Specified Action Plans (SAP) and PDCA cycles.
• Audit supplier manufacturing processes across stamping, welding, casting, molding, and electronics assembly.
• Evaluate production planning systems, inventory buffers, and packaging logistics to ensure supply stability.
• Present technical assessments and supplier recovery roadmaps to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
• 2-8 years of experience in automotive supplier quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or SCM.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing process optimization (OEE, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• High-impact communication, executive presentation, and dispute resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North American supplier manufacturing plants.
