Responsibilities

  • Partner with design teams to support design development, provide design for manufacturability feedback, and generate product data for composite assemblies.
  • Support the internal Anduril design process and ideation, managing technical risks, proof of concepts, prototyping, and scaling designs for production.
  • Drive supplier quality development processes, including design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for components and sub-assemblies.
  • Manage supplier performance, including cost, quality, delivery, and fulfillment, ensuring compliance with customer flow-down requirements.
  • Own supplier quality readiness by analyzing key and critical characteristics, developing measurement systems, and conducting supplier qualification activities.
  • Lead supplier audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with Anduril’s Quality Management System.
  • Support root cause and corrective action activities, including Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and drive supplier corrective action and response processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or similar technical field.
  • Experience with producing composite assemblies and manufacturing of mechanical sub-assemblies for aerospace.
  • Experience scaling supplier capabilities and quality from prototype to production.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T.
  • A strong ownership mindset and analytical skills.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.

Prioritization

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to suppliers, sourcing partners, and manufacturing locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Experience with non-destructive inspection techniques and PFMEA.
  • Experience with government contracts and MIL standards.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, NX, Oracle/Netsuite, Jira, and Foundry.
